BIO

VIKA EKSTA is a visual artist and teacher based in Riga. She works in conceptual art using photography, archival research, video and performance. Eksta holds a BA in Film Theory and a MA in Visual Communication from Latvian Academy of Art and has studied photography at Andrejs Grants's studio, ISSP and EFTI in Madrid. She received the ADC Young Guns Award, FK magazine portfolio award and the Riga Photography Biennial Award for young Baltic photographers. Her work has been exhibited in Latvia and internationally since 2014.
