I have been among 11 visual artists and curators who have received a grant for creative work in 2021 from the Latvian State Culture foundation (VKKF). This is so amazing and comforting support that allows to be less restrained in my creative process.
At the moment I am working on the two exhibition projects - following a country side horse Zvaigznīte and continuing to develop the Devil's lake project. While working on
both I am experimenting with the analogue color printing at the Rucka Artist residency darkroom.
Zvaigznite will be seen at the solo exhibition at gallery Alma in May (as part of the Riga photography biennial program) and The Devil's lake will be part of the Cesis art festival exhibition in July!
